Small bookshop

People often have many books collecting dust on their shelves after they have been read. It’s a shame that they get left for years but you could try to put them to use by starting a small bookshop. In the beginning, it would be good if you could get people to donate books that they don’t want any more so that you don’t need a large start-up capital to buy your products. When you feel you have enough to open the shop (or even before this, open a stall in a market), you could then buy old books off people for a small amount and sell them for a profit.

If you don’t have money to invest in this project, just start small and see how it goes. Even if you stay with a market stall, you will still have started your own business. It may not bring in a great deal of money but it will be worth more than claiming benefit.
